We are just four short weeks away from the release of Street Fighter V on PS4 and PC. Today, Capcom revealed that SFV will contain two different story telling elements to enhance the game experience.
The first mode, launching in February, will see each character with their own classic mode storylines. The stories will unfold in a series of illustrations done by famed Capcom artist Bengus.
The second mode, debuting this summer via a free update, is a Street Fighter V Cinematic Story Mode that will take Street Fighter to the next level. This will mark the first time that the Street Fighter franchise has embarked on a full cinematic story mode. This new mode will tell the story of the World Warriors between Street Fighter IV and Street Fighter III.
Capcom also announced a final round of the beta. This beta phase will go from January 30th to the 31st.
And if you haven’t seen or heard you can purchase the Street Fighter V Season Pass to get a jump on your expanded roster. The season pass will contain 6 total fighters: Alex, Guile, Balrog, Urien, Ibuki and Juri. If you choose not to get the season pass you can earn and purchase these characters using the in game Zunny or Fight Money.
Prepare to Rise Up on February 16th.
